Historic burials and authentic setting
The so-called Old Russian Cemetery is surrounded by a metal fence and has an entrance gate with columns at one side. The burial ground is still in function but also have graves of a distinct historic interest, among others Baron Sergej Gersdorff and Baron Nikolai Nikolajevich Gersdorff, Marie Mengden widow of Zinaida Mengdens elder brother Georgij, Sergej Ladischenskij son of Imperial Chamberlain Ladyschenskij, and Prince Nikolai Aleksandrowich Viazemskij, Vice-Admiral of the Imperial Fleet and Commander of the Imperial Yacht “The Polarstar” © Private photography
