Upcoming danish auction at Bruun-Rasmussen – Part of the Bonham´s network – on sale 15th of June in Copenhagen are some really spectacular imperial easter-eggs.

The 4 eggs are by renowned Petersburg workshops, notably Carl Fabergé, Alfred Thieleman and August Holmström; They each come with a royal provenance, since they were given as presents by Empress Maria Feodorovna to her younger brother, the danish prince Waldemar and his wife, the french princess Marie of Orléans. Three art nouveau miniature easter eggs by french artists belonging to princess Marie of Orléans are likewise on sale.

Each Imperial miniature egg is valued at 30 – 40.000 Dkkr., the french “Imperial style” eggs valued at 10 – 12.000 Dkkr.
